NEW: ALL SENIOR WORKSHOPS

We will hold monthly workshops that students and parents can participate in to learn more about preparing for college and/or the workforce after high school. However, there will be three activities that will be MANDATORY for all Seniors to complete. These mandatory activities will be provided to students during the school day and through after school workshops to ensure all students are able to participate.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding participation in these workshops, please contact your advisor. 

 

  1. September 5Exploring Options for after High School 
    • 11:00-12:00 (4th period) MANDATORY FOR ALL ON-CAMPUS SENIORS
    • 4:00-5:00 MANDATORY FOR ALL OFF-CAMPUS SENIORS
  2. September 6 College Application Workshop with CU Boulder 1:45-3:45 at CECA
  3. October 25 Scholarships and Financial Aid Applications 1:45-3:45 at CECA
  4. November 7 – Senior Night and Creating a Budget (college and/or personal)  

    • 12:30-1:25 (5th period) MANDATORY FOR ALL ON CAMPUS SENIORS
    • 3:30-5:00 MANDATORY FOR ALL OFF-CAMPUS SENIORS
  5. December 13 College, Scholarship, and Employment Application Support 1:45 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. at CECA 

 

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

 
The Colorado Early Colleges Board of Directors has established the following graduation requirements for all students pursing graduation. All of the following criteria must be met in order for a student to graduate:

Mathematics credit must include a geometry class and an algebra class.

Social Science credit must include a US history and a US civics/government class.

College and Career Readiness credit must include a workforce readiness class.

All Colorado Early Colleges graduates must demonstrate college or career readiness based on at least one measure in English and one measure in math listed in the Menu of College and Career-Ready Demonstrations established by the Colorado Department of Education.
