TaRay Bailey

TaRay chose CEC because he wanted to graduate high school with a career.

“At CEC, they let you choose the path you take,” he said. “Whether you want to go to university or get right into a career.”

He takes classes at CEC in the morning, and then heads to the Pickens Technical College campus. He’s appreciated the opportunity to graduate workforce ready, but is also now considering a four-year degree.

“I’m thinking now I might go to a university,” he said. “At CEC just because you choose one path doesn’t mean you can’t change your mind and go to another.”

At his graduation, TaRay’s older brother said, “He’s going to keep going, keep striving. He inspires me. Even though I’m his older brother, I look up to him.”
